With three indoor fish and chip shops and a dedicated takeaway, we are committed to serving consistently high-quality food to thousands of guests every week.

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Fish Fryer to join our busy catering team.

About the Role

  • As a Fish Fryer, you will play a key role in maintaining the high standards our customers expect.
  • Working as part of an experienced team, you'll help ensure every portion is cooked to perfection and served with consistency.

Your Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain frying oil temperatures to ensure optimum food quality.
  • Prepare and maintain high-quality batter throughout service.
  • Cut, prepare and grade fish to company standards.
  • Produce consistently high-quality food with excellent presentation.
  • Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times.
  • Work efficiently as part of a busy kitchen team.
  • Assist with customer service when required.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about producing high-quality food.
  • Calm and organised in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong team player with a positive attitude.
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation.
  • Reliable.
  • Takes pride in their work.
  • Previous experience working on a frying range or in a professional kitchen (is preferred but not essential).

Rate of Pay

  • £13.50 per hour
