Eagle-eyed viewers in Scotland and the North West of England might have spotted our Coral Island TV advert in recent weeks, to remind you all that while summer is now behind us, the fun continues all year round in Blackpool!

It might be a bit chilly to explore the beach in autumn and winter but with Blackpool’s world-famous Illuminations, Halloween thrills, and live music, shows, and musicals to please everyone, there are so many reasons to visit Blackpool this autumn.

Coral Island opens every day from 9:30 am to welcome you, and you can see our TV advert on our Facebook page, which shows a family having a swashbuckling adventure in Blackpool’s largest free-admission attraction.

The advert invites everyone to ‘search high and low’ for all the treasures to be found at Coral Island, whether you want to put your skills to the test by shooting hoops, play traditional seaside games such as the penny pushers, or try and beat your friends and family on the Camel Derby!

You’ll find all the latest ticket games at Coral Island, based on your favourite TV shows and films, board games and computer games. Maybe the crane grabbers are your favourite, and there are so many of your favourite Disney and Star Wars soft toys favourites to collect to name a few....

Gather all your winning tickets, and you can exchange them for the finest pirate treasure known to man at Coral Island’s Prize Shop - you’ll not only find toys and games for kids, but collect enough tickets and there are TVs, PlayStations, and iPads up for grabs!

We’ve got the latest arcade games too, whether you want to take a riveting VR rollercoaster ride with the Rabbids, or take on zombie hoards with the Super Spray Cannons or the horrifying The Waking Dead arcade game. You’ll find classic arcade games as well as the latest titles right here.

Why not take a look at Coral Island from a different perspective, and take a trip high above the crowds on the Pirate Flyer monorail? Weaving across the sky above the arcade machines!

If you’re feeling brave, then take a ride on the Pirate Quest Ghost Train, where you can explore the ghostly ruins of the Coral Crusader Galleon, the ill-fated ship off Captain Coral, which was smashed against the rocks of Coral Island, complete with its pirate booty of rubies, stolen from the king.

See if you can find all the rubies hidden amongst the ship wreckage at the bottom of the sea, but beware, Captain Coral’s crew of scallywags continue to haunt the vessel, and are ready to try and scare you off!

Whether you’ve come to visit Blackpool with the family or with friends, you’ll find there are games and amusements to suit everyone at Coral Island and fun for all ages.

Exploring the Illuminations and strolling along the Promenade can certainly work up a hunger though, and you’ll find a range of restaurants here at Coral Island.

For some people, no trip to the seaside is complete without fish and chips, and we have award-winning chippies right here in the building.

Whether you want fish and chips to go and eat along the seafront from our prom Chippy or sit down and enjoy a fish supper from the Traditional Chippy and the Big Fish Trading Co., you can be sure of the finest and freshest fish and the perfect chips, as well as all the family favourites.

Families always love visiting The Buccaneer, our pirate-themed family bar and restaurant. Based in the Captain’s Library onboard Captain Jack’s pirate galleon, you’ll find all manner of pirate treasure hidden among the walls and even under the floorboards. See how much pirate treasure you can find hidden, while portraits of famous pirate captains look down from the walls!

If it’s family favourites you’re looking for, you’ll find them all at The Buccaneer, such as burgers, roast chicken, and chicken tikka, to steak, roast lamb, and fish dishes. There’s also the famous Sunday Carvery every Sunday from noon, with our three-meat carved and fresh vegetables.

What’s even better, is that kids eat free at selected restaurants at Coral Island. For every full-paid adult meal, you can get one free kid’s meal for kids aged under 10. You don’t need to pre-book, or even have a voucher, just look for the yellow Kids Eat Free stickers and notices for participating restaurants. Visit our website today for all the terms and conditions.

Older visitors may prefer to dine at Captain Jack’s Bar & Grill, where Cap’n Jack loves to serve some of the delicacies he’s discovered during his adventures across the seven seas.

Captain Jack’s is famous for its double-dipped, extra-wide, pork ribs and stacker-burgers layered with fresh ingredients and toppings, and you can get chicken, hot dogs, burgers, ribs, fish, and steak straight off the grill.

Why not get a sharing platter for you and your friends, which includes cheese-topped nachos, marinated chicken wings, onion rings crispy mushrooms, garlic bread, and a BBQ sauce dip, finished off with a slice of delicious cheesecake from the dessert menu?

Keep an eye out for our Coral Island TV advert, and you can see there’s fun, games, and amusements for the whole family, as well as fantastic food, and free meals for the kids.

So what are you waiting for? Gather your crew, and come and visit Blackpool today, and make sure you come and see us all at Coral Island, Blackpool’s greatest free-admission attraction.
